[Touch-packages] [Bug 1469007] Re: [Meizu MX4] In first run, a GPS app is not asking about location
** Description changed: - I'm not sure if this is from the OTA4. + I'm not sure if this applies just Meizu or any device from OTA4. The first you run a GPS application, it is not asking permission for the location (and it hasn't permission). If you kill the app, the next times will not ask either. You have to reboot the phone, then in the first new run, yes, it will ask for location. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1469007] Re: [Meizu MX4] In first run, a GPS app is not asking about location
Thanks for your report. I can reproduce this issue on rc- proposed/meizu.en/arale #50 (with HERE, clock, OSMTouch) but it doesn't happen every time. I couldn't reproduce on same image on krillin. When it happens (no prompt) the application takes a long time to start. @costales, could you please indicate on which image/device you started seeing this issue. Thanks. ** Changed in: location-service (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = High ** Changed in: location-service (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete ** Also affects: canonical-devices-system-image Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to location-service in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1469007 Title: [Meizu MX4] In first run, a GPS app is not asking about location Status in the base for Ubuntu mobile products: New Status in location-service package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I'm not sure if this applies just Meizu or any device from OTA4. Hi! It's MX4, Ubuntu 15.04 r2. If I turn Wifi off the prompt is always displayed. Could it be a side effect of bug 1462664? Uhm... yes, it could be from my tests :O Well done!! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to location-service in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1469007 Title: [Meizu MX4] In first run, a GPS app is not asking about location Status in the base for Ubuntu mobile products: Confirmed Status in location-service package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I'm not sure if this applies just Meizu or any device from OTA4.
