Title:
rollapp.com says not a supported browser

Status in webbrowser-app package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
It would be useful to use the service RollApp (www.rollapp.com) also on the
browser of Ubuntu Touch.
The service uses Chrome / Chromium as the default browser to virtualize
OpenSource programs (OpenOffice, Stellarium, etc.).
It could be a temporary solution pending the complete corvengence.

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1490412] Re: rollapp.com says not a supported browser

2015-11-09 Thread Gabriele
@ Olivier
No, actually on my Android tablet it works well.
Even if you look at the video presentation
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded=0kW-sgBKtZI) works on
iPad, and Android devices.
the limit would seem only the use of Chrome

cheers

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1490412] Re: rollapp.com says not a supported browser

2015-11-06 Thread Olivier Tilloy
@Gabriele: this change doesn’t affect phones, this user agent override
is going to be used on desktop only.

As for making it work on the phone, I just tried it, and I was greeted
with the following message:

« We’re working on bringing rollApp to Android »

My understanding is that they don’t support mobile platforms yet. Once
they do, this should work in webbrowser-app too.

Olivier ,
Have you tried your changing, also on the Phone's Web App?
