The bug is in the image provider which is not setting the exif metadata correctly. This was fixed in ubuntu-ui-extras, which camera-app is already using. Gallery app has been modified to use this version as well. The picture received from content-hub is correctly rotated. @tiagosh please verify if the picture we are getting from camera is properly rotated and if so make sure we're maintaining the rotation after scaling the photo.
