Public bug reported: OS: Xubuntu 16.04.1 Printer Device: Brother DCP1610W
My printer is not working on my desktop. I've installed both drivers under "printer" in the following link: http://support.brother.com/g/b/downloadlist.aspx?c=as_ot&lang=en&prod=dcp1610w_eu_as&os=128 The scanner works perfectly fine. I should mention that I've it working on my laptop with exactly the same drivers and OS. After clicking on "Print", the job status is "completed" but nothing gets printed. I can't print test pages. I can scan perfectly fine with it, it's just the printing that's not working. Under "Printers", I see the printer there with the green check-mark, though after asking to print something, nothing happens. Any idea what might be happening and I should I go about fixing this? I can scan perfectly fine with it, it's just the printing that's not working.
