Title:
Problems printing to Lexmark E120n via USB
Status in cups package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Two problems:
1. Some attempts at printing a 20 page document from LibreOffice show
apparently reproducible output errors on particular pages (eg 3, 4, 8 etc) with
some lines 'smudged' but readable, some totally garbled, and others almost
correct.
2. With some attempts at printing (a single page) the printer outputs:
PJL ENTER LANGUAGE = PCLXL
) HP-PCL XL;1;1;Comment Artifex Software
Occasionally, turning the printer off and on after this error will
result in the page being printed correctly
Using the troubleshooting suggestions at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems#USB_printer_does_not_print_or_prints_garbage
gives the above error message with option 1.
Using Option 2 the printer outputs
PCL XL error
