This occurs for me when I send inputs via a virtual uinput device i
created, which X auto recognizes and starts uses.

At first I started going crazy because at random times a button press
would not go through, then I finally saw this message and realized the
cause. Any solutions?

The only time this occurs for me, is when I try to close a java
application (https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/index.php?f=16045).
With this particular java application, it appears to happen more often,
if I use the window close button instead of the menu close item when
closing windows (but always it occurs when attempting to quit, so it
appears to be related to releasing memory).

Hi! I can reproduce this bug too.
System just going to freeze and does not react to keyboard. After reboot 
sometimes it happens again (for example while watching youtube video in vivaldi 
browser).

After another reboot, EQ overflowing occurs again, it seems random to me
now.
