This bug appears to be fixed in 17.10. Maybe just wait for the themes
backport.

  I can see through the title bar when the window is maximized

Bug description:
  I'm using gnome-shell in Ubuntu 17.04
  When I maximize a window in the following programs: Firefox, Terminal, 
Rhythmbox, LibreOffice. I can see the background colors in top and bottom 
margins of the title bar.

  The bug is present in Ambiance and Radiance themes.
  The bug is not present in Nautilus, Google Chrome and Gnome Tweak Tool.
