[Touch-packages] [Bug 1696019] Re: cursor not following the theme while hovering the desktop and the windows decorations

2017-06-05 Thread Daniel van Vugt
Sorry. Confirmed on artful. You just have to log in using the GNOME
session (not GNOME on Wayland). So this is a Xorg-specific bug, which
still exists.

If I use lightdm to load GNOME Shell, I encounter a very weird bug: if
I move the cursor to hover the desktop, the cursor theme becomes DMZ
White, but if I move the cursor over the GNOME panel or over any open

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1696019] Re: cursor not following the theme while hovering the desktop and the windows decorations

2017-06-05 Thread Daniel van Vugt
It appears the bug does not exist in 17.10. So this is either Fix
Released post-16.04, or some problem specific to your custom theme.
Please help us to figure out which by:

1. Testing Ubuntu 17.10 or 17.04; and
2. Testing the standard Ambiance/Radiance themes.

this session..

I made a screencast of this behaviour. I rescaled it to keep it in a
