[Touch-packages] [Bug 1758250] Re: window and application rules in a plasma wayland session

2018-03-23 Thread Daniel van Vugt
'wayland' is just the protocol so please don't assign bugs to that.

It sounds like this bug should be assigned to something starting with K.

** Package changed: wayland (Ubuntu) => kwin (Ubuntu)

Title:
window and application rules in a plasma wayland session

Status in kwin package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
With plasma session kde 18.04 beta 1, I start the application ktimer
with the rules (for the windows and the application) "minimize",
"ignore the task bar", "ignore the desktop" & "ignore the task
  selector" at "YES" for lunching.

This rules can be defined with config system or right clic on the
  window's menu supplementary action / window's rules & application's
  rules.

  Sorry for my english.

Doing, that, when ktimer is started, its window is closed and only the
icon is visible in the notification area.

  That's what I want.

When I logout and then login in my plasma wayland session, these rules
  have no effects.

  Ktimer's window is visible.

With right click, supplementary menus window's rules & application's
rules are not activated and can't be selected.

I can change the rules with config system but nothing change.
