I would expect it's one of the following: Google Chrome plugin (need to use for work) Skype (from Microsoft Skype directly, not Snap which caused issues immediately!) Virtual Call Centre - deb package direct from source https://vcc.live/ I have no way to know whether any of the above caused this issue or whether it's compositing desktop demons at play, so if anyone can interpret the above, I can chase up with any 3rd party as required (presuming there is no Ubuntu/kernel/X problem at play here) If more info needed I am happy to provide.
