[Touch-packages] [Bug 1877093] Re: [SRU] New stable release 2.34.2

This bug was fixed in the package at-spi2-atk - 2.34.2-0ubuntu2~20.04.1

  * No-change backport from groovy to focal. (LP: #1877093)

at-spi2-atk (2.34.2-0ubuntu2) groovy; urgency=medium

  * Bring back use_system_atk_adaptor.patch, which is still used by the tests.
Don't put it in debian/patches, otherwise when you use gbp pq it'll be
dropped as unused. Put it in debian/test-patches/ instead, and then you
can use `QUILT_PATCHES=debian/test-patches/ quilt push -a` to change it if
you need to.

Bug description:
  [ Description ]

GNOME upstream have released a new stable version of at-spi2-atk.

  Changes:

  What's new in at-spi2-atk 2.34.2:

  * Meson: don't hard-code shared_library (!19).

  * Mitigate missing window events at startup.

  * Set C standard to gnu99 (#10).

  * Tests: include sys/time.h (#14).

  [ QA ]

GNOME has a micro release exception that covers this package.

  https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates/GNOME

So we don't need to verify the fixes explicitly.

Install the desktop and exercise the screen reader in a variety of
  situations.

Optionally, but ideally, test the installer too.

  [ Regression potential ]

If this update is busted the screen reader might not work. This
changes the C standard too, which should be fine, but make sure to do
  some QA.

Things seems happy with 2.34.2-0ubuntu2~20.04.1, no problem seen in
local testing nor new bugs reported, the autopkgtests are green now,
marking as verified

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1877093] Re: [SRU] New stable release 2.34.2

2020-05-12 Thread Brian Murray
Hello Iain, or anyone else affected,

Accepted at-spi2-atk into focal-proposed. The package will build now and
be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/at-
spi2-atk/2.34.2-0ubuntu2~20.04.1 in a few hours, and then in the
-proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation on how
to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this
update out to other Ubuntu users.

If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug,
mentioning the version of the package you tested, what testing has been
performed on the package and change the tag from verification-needed-
focal to verification-done-focal. If it does not fix the bug for you,
please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification-
failed-focal. In either case, without details of your testing we will
not be able to proceed.

Further information regarding the verification process can be found at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in
advance for helping!

N.B. The updated package will be released to -updates after the bug(s)
fixed by this package have been verified and the package has been in
-proposed for a minimum of 7 days.

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1877093] Re: [SRU] New stable release 2.34.2

2020-05-07 Thread Sebastien Bacher
Hey Iain, thanks for the work. I'm rejecting the focal upload because
the update made the autopkgtest red by removing
debian/patches/use_system_atk_adaptor.patch while the tests script still
does try to apply the now non existing patch
