Title:
Extigy Sound level of AC3 optical input muted after karmic boot

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
After upgrading to Karmic, the input level on the optical and digital
cinch input (or DolbyDigital decoder) of the extigy card is muted.

This is very annoying since i'm using the card to decode DD to the 5.1
cinch output and send it to my Amp.

(The PC driver also seems to have problems with the 5.1 output => Bug
  518966 )

I did not succeed to enable the DD sound output with any mixer (Pulseaudio /
Alsa) on ubuntu.
Once i started windows with the Extigy mixer App, the card was working
correctly.

  Best regards.
