[Touch-packages] [Bug 581773] Re: snd-virmidi should by default blocked to become default card
This issue has sat incomplete for more than 60 days now. I'm going to close it as invalid. Please feel free re-open if this is still an issue for you. Thank you. ** Changed in: alsa-driver (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to alsa-driver in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/581773 Title: snd-virmidi should by default blocked to become default card Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Binary package hint: alsa-base loading snd-virmidi with the default settings can lead to lots of audio trouble as it can become the default card (index 0). It is very unlikely that anyone ever wants the virtual midi device as card 0. I recommend adding the following line to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf to prevent this to happen: # Keep snd-virmidi from being loaded as first soundcard options snd-virmidi index=-2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/581773/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
