Title:
Print server doesn't work w/ space on the end
Status in cups package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: cups
The standard interface for CUPS in Ubuntu does NOT delete spaces in
IP-adresses, so if I accidently press enter when entering an IP (eg.
192.168.0.2[SPACE]) the computer will find the printer on 192.168.0.2,
but then give me an error after "Describe Printer" that says 'client-
error-not-possible" as it tries to connect to 192.168.0.2 :PORT
instead of 192.168.0.2:PORT.
