Title:
debconf-communicate crashed with SIGSEGV in write()

Status in debconf package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: debconf

I was updating the -radeon and -ati xorg drivers from the x-swat repos
and after it was done, this error came up. Window stayed open and
closed out just fine. It looks like
  https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/perl/+bug/528224, but
that was in 10.04 Alpha, and I'm running 10.10 Beta and I never once
had the problem in 10.04 Final, so it may be a regression if the bug
  was fixed before.
