Title:
[4284BZ4, Conexant CX20590, Speaker, Internal] No sound at all,
  headphones work

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
The internal speakers worked for about a couple of weeks after
installing Ubuntu on this machine (ThinkPad W520). Now, either after
an update or after using the 3.5mm jack in my dock, the speakers do
not work anymore. I have taken the laptop out of its dock, still
nothing. Plugging headphones in works. All the volumes are up in
alsamixer, I don't know what else to try.
