Personalmente credo che ogni miglioramento o in generale ogni cosa che
faciliti la traduzione non può essere che ben accetto.
Prima, o oltre, ad inviare il file puoi chiedere sulla lista debian-i18n
su come procedere e a chi inviare il file.
Visto che questa wordlist verrebbe usata specificatamente all'interno
del DDTP e che ci sono diverse altre convenzioni che usiamo lì e che
sono state votate negli anni dai revisori/traduttori sarebbe non male
inserire anche quellese solo ci fosse un elenco.
E infatti penso ci sia un elenco o almeno un pre-elenco... ma,
colpevolmente, non ricordo chi l'avesse fatto e non riesco a trovare i
messaggi di posta elettronica relativi. Aveva preparato un file
dizionario xml e mi ricordo teneva conto delle decisioni. (Sarei tentata
di dire Mirco... Mirco eri tu?)
Se non salta fuori l'elenco si può aprire in lista debian-l10n una
discussione e chiedere a chiunque ricordi decisioni su termini DDTP di
inviare i termini. Io nel ricordo al massimo 2 o 3, ma se ci penso su
può essere che ne ricordi altre.

pensate di aggiornare il glossario in base alle discussione passate in

Spero che chi se ne è occupato fino ad ora possa aiutarti.
A me ovviamente farebbe piacere un aggiornamento con le discussioni
passate in lista, quella tp. Di solito veniva messo come subject qualcosa
come proposta per glossario o simile quando si proponevano votazioni su
voci da inserire nel glossario (magari può facilitare la ricerca di voci
da inserire).
Per le discussioni in altre liste, e in particolare quella debian-l10n
in CC non inserirei a glossario le decisioni prese lì, se non dopo il
consenso di tp. Il rapporto non è bidirezionale :) Il progetto Debian
fa riferimento a tp per le traduzioni, ma non è il contrario. Il
progetto tp include diversi altri progetti.
Nello specifico, la discussione che citi nell'esempio non mi sembra da
glossario. Era una discussione per uniformare l'uso di alcuni termini
all'interno di una *particolare* traduzione Debian (il Debian Handbook)
e non credo siano da considerarsi come indicazioni generali nemmeno
all'interno del progetto Debian. Sono termini non tecnici (going
further, quick look, tip, ...) la cui traduzione è lasciata libera a
ciascun traduttore; l'unico motivo per cui in quel caso è stata fatta
una decisione comune è che erano i titoli dei riquadri di
approfondimento e li volevamo uguali in tutti i capitoli del libro.
