 can't find it just now.

I don't mind the relative dates but it'd be nice if you could hover your
mouse over them and get the absolute date. To me that'd be the best of
both worlds.

I get that behavior in 0.12. For example in comments added to tickets.
Or in the Last Modified at the top of a wiki page.

I get this behaviour even in 0.11.7-4 on Debian.
Not having to hover would be nice, however.

[Trac] Any mod to trac.ini results in need to upgrade my project, which then clears trac.ini

2011-07-14 Thread sue

I've run into this issue once before, but now I cant remember the
resolution. I'm trying to setup a mirror of our production system so
that I can prototype enhancements. I tried to enable the
SimpleTicketPlugin (which has always worked well in the past), but
once I enabled it on the web interface, trac said i needed to ugprade
the database. Once I do that upgrade, the trac.ini is completely wiped
out, all plugins are disabled, and the only thing in trac.ini is the
generic trac workflow. Does anyone have an idea why this might be
happening? It makes me nervous to touch our production system lest
this happen there. Now, even just adding a [components] section and
enabling simpleticket.* results in the database requiring an ugprade,
even if that's the only thing i do!

Thanks!
Sue

[Trac] Re: Any mod to trac.ini results in need to upgrade my project, which then clears trac.ini

2011-07-14 Thread sue
Found the answer to my own problem. In my production system the
configuration is owned by root, but in my mirror it is owned by
myself. When I was making updates to trac.ini I was using sudo and
modifying the trac.ini file, which was causing a lot of problems for
the system. Just in case anyone else makes the same mistake (or I do
this again 3 months from now and forget the resolution :) )
