Sorry for the dummy question, but is Trac still actively being

I've used and loved it many many years ago on top of subversion.

I am looking at it as an option for integration with the new tools
around the block (Git, Jenkins, cloud services).
But it seems the dev has slowed down a lot since late 2013.
 Am I mistaken?

Release 1.0.2 is available now. Please give it a try!

Evaluating the plugin has been on my todo list for a while.

Seems to have been packaged for Python 2.4

I just tried to install it from within Trac-admin plugins and nothing
seemed to happen. No errors. No sign of it.

 I'm using Trac-1.0.1-py2.7 ...

 Trac1.0.1
 Babel 0.9.6
 Docutils0.9.1
 Genshi 0.7 (without speedups)
 mod_wsgi3.3 (WSGIProcessGroup WSGIApplicationGroup %(GLOBAL))
 Pygments1.4
 pysqlite2.6.0
 Python 2.7.3 (default, Feb 27 2014, 20:09:21) [GCC 4.6.3]
 pytz2012d
 setuptools 5.4.1
 SQLite 3.7.9
 Subversion 1.6.17 (r1128011)

 and ...

 Buildbot: 0.8.5
 Twisted: 11.1.0
 Jinja: 2.6
 Python: 2.7.3 (default, Feb 27 2014, 19:58:35) [GCC 4.6.3]
 Buildmaster platform: linux2

I would like to try it out as well - but no luck at my first attempt.

 Thanks for any hints.

 Mike

You can build an egg following the steps at:
http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/TracPlugins#InstallingaTracplugin

The plugin seems to load in Trac 1.0.2beta1. It will only work with
BuildBot = 0.8.1 due to the changes in: http://trac.buildbot.net/ticket/832.
We'll need to adapt the plugin to the JSON interface.

[Trac] Re: trac still being actively developed?

2014-10-22 Thread David Byrne

I had created a ticket on the buildbot plugin (when I transitioned to
buildbot 0.8.0) and was recently pointed to a new implementation that does
work with buildbot = 0.8.1. This new one can be found at:

https://github.com/Tramort/tracbuildbot

I've installed it and was able to get it working with a little help from
the developer. Hope this helps!

Thanks,

David Byrne

[Trac] Re: trac still being actively developed?

I've used and loved it many many years ago on top of subversion.

I am looking at it as an option for integration with the new tools
around the block (Git, Jenkins, cloud services).

To expand on my previous note:
 - Trac supports Git since 1.0, and the support is actively maintained
(lots of bugfixes lately thanks to Jun's effort and Peter's work to
integrate the plugin)
 - There are some plugins to integrate Jenkins, but my sense is that they
could use some development:
http://trac-hacks.org/tags/jenkins

What other cloud services do you have in mind?

But it seems the dev has slowed down a lot since late 2013.
 Am I mistaken?
