[translate-pootle] pootle server rights

2013-01-07 Thread Nagy Ákos
Hi,

can you give me admin rights on http://pootle.locamotion.org/ for
Romanian language?
I finished the pootle translation and have some unmoderated comments,
and I can't moderate it.
And can you tell me please who is now the Romanian project leader?

Ákos

Re: [translate-pootle] Aurora 19 your language has been signed-off

2013-01-07 Thread Rhoslyn Prys
Thanks for all your hard work and timley reminders!

There have been some recent comments by Jeff on the Mozilla L10n list:

As you all know, l10n string freeze and merge day all happened within
the last couple of weeks. Sadly, it seems that many locales were unable
to sign off on their most recent changesets for them to release with
Firefox 18. This link shows all the current shipping locales and their
most up-to-date version of Firefox desktop
(https://l10n.mozilla.org/shipping/app/locale-changes/fx18).

I've checked on the Welsh page (
https://l10n-dev-sj.mozilla.org/teams/cy ) and it's showing fx17 as the
last sign off. There appears not to have been a sign off for fx18 - as yet.

Was there anything I should have done/can do? Thanks.

Rhos

 Hi,

Well done for all your hard work in translating for Aurora 19.

We have pushed your latest translations to Mozilla and have signed-off on
your language. There is not much more for you to do except to continue
 testing and growing your community.

 Once again well done.

 Regards
 Dwayne

Re: [translate-pootle] Aurora 19 your language has been signed-off

2013-01-07 Thread Dwayne Bailey
Hi Rhoslyn,

Rather look at this page https://l10n.mozilla.org/teams/cy

My rules are if there is no work or something very broken in a cycle then I
don't sign off.

Unfortunately with Welsh I did sign off but it was rejected see
https://l10n.mozilla.org/shipping/signoffs/cy/fx18#81f8eeaf61e5

My fault I dropped the ball on that bug, am really sorry about that. The
fix is in Aurora but I forgot to get it into beta and now 18 has been
pushed to release I can't change it. I've made some changes on my end so
that I have easy access to beta so that I can fix this in future.

The underlying issue though has been resolved and was a technical one
introduced, unfortunately, by the Mozilla license changes to headers.

So long story short, we can't get those changes in. Users for Welsh will
stay on 17 but will proceed to 19 when it moves to release in 6 weeks time.
