[Trisquel-users] Spam filter shenanigans
ryanpablo sent me the following message: Hey Adrian, I was trying to post a topic on the forum asking users what they felt about some of the personal servers listed under a freedombox article I read online after hearing you guys speak of it on the forum and I was told that I had been flagged by the spamfilter and it would not go up. I had no links in the article and it was generally relevant to the Trisquel community as I had read some articles but was hoping to hear what the Free Software/ Trisquel Community thought about it. Sincerely, Ryan I couldn't be of much help to him, so he gave me permission to post this to the forum. Any idea what could be triggering the spam filter? Does the filter block anyone from posting anything at all once it's triggered?
Re: [Trisquel-users] Spam filter shenanigans
The spam filter can be a little overzealous sometimes. I was getting filtered for Spam when I was editing the documentation and I am a member + on the documentation team! I had to talk to quidam to get the issue fixed.
Re: [Trisquel-users] Spam filter shenanigans
BTW quidam can be contacted via (https://trisquel.info/en/users/quidam) or a lot of times via the Trisquel IRC channel in #trisquel on freenode.

Re: [Trisquel-users] Trisquel 5.0 LTS alpha images ready for testing
Hello, first of all cool news, I'm glad to hear it started and it is closer. I was wondering, is there a way to add encrypted LVM as an option in the GUI installer for this or any future releases ? At this time, from what I'm aware this option is only available from the netinstall cd. I don't mind the CLI install but the net dependency can be a rather big inconvenience.
Re: [Trisquel-users] Spam filter shenanigans
Happened to me today as well. I went to post something, it was blocked, and there was a link to message someone about it. Hope it goes through soon.
Re: [Trisquel-users] Recommended e-mail ?
Manual is unlocked.
Re: [Trisquel-users] Spam filter shenanigans
I was blocked as well.
Re: [Trisquel-users] Trisquel 5.0 LTS alpha images ready for testing

Also, the thread title is wrong, this is an STS (short term support) release.

At this time, from what I'm aware this option is only available from the netinstall cd. I don't mind the CLI install but the net dependency can be a rather big inconvenience. The only known way would be to manually set LVM before running the installer and then manually select the partitions. There are several tutorials on how to do it with Ubuntu, it would be nice if someone added a howto in our wiki.

Re: [Trisquel-users] Spam filter shenanigans
I seem to be able to only post in comments and not topics anymore dunno if my one post was considered in poor taste and I was permanently disabled as troll lol
Re: [Trisquel-users] Adding packages to repository
Thank you guys! Finally starting to get better with GNU/Linux and Trisquel!

Re: [Trisquel-users] Trisquel 5.0 LTS alpha images ready for testing
The link is dead but was working earlier so I only got 100 MB (I wanted to finish in the morning instead of keeping the computer on) :(
Re: [Trisquel-users] Fully accessible Trisquel!
I hope this important project succeeds.
