Making a PPC-based computer that complies with the FSF Respects Your 
Freedom program sounds like a good plan to me. I look forward to learning 
more details about what they are able to make.


Unfortunately their communications are less than clear: I see on 
http://www.powerpc-notebook.org/join/ we're invited to "Subscribe to the 
newsletter" but there's no link behind that text pointing to a subscription 
page. 
http://www.powerpc-notebook.org/subscribe-powerpc-notebook-newsletter/ has 
a comparable problem: it's not clear what one does to subscribe to receive 
the newsletter (I presume newsletters are sent via email?).


Here's hoping they don't pick a known spy agency (such as Google, 
Microsoft, or Yahoo) for hosting their newsletter. A series of blog posts 
with an RSS feed should do just fine (no email address needed and clearly 
they already have WordPress going).
