Due to an array of critical security vulnerabilities, it is definitely time  
to push an update to the users. I've migrated my systems away from Trisquel  
until the issue is resolved. Debian without enabling the non-free repository  
is a good alternative option.

Ubuntu 16.10 comes out this month, meaning 16.04 will be out for 6 months.  
Since Trisquel 8 is based on 16.04, it's really shitty that we have had to  
wait 6 months. What is the damn holdup?
