Re: [Trisquel-users] crashing X200 on video playback
I confirm that I’ve recently been experiencing the exact same issue with my T400s running Libreboot. It started to occur when I watched more videos (today 2 times it crashed).
Re: [Trisquel-users] crashing X200 on video playback
This is a known and bug/feature with Libreboot because a perfectly stable X200 would require microcode updates. See https://notabug.org/libreboot/libreboot/issues/289

Maybe you need to clean the heat sink and re-apply thermal grease.
[Trisquel-users] crashing X200 on video playback
I have a librebooted X200 running Triquel 8. When I play videos which are (roughly) an hour or more the machine will randomly freeze, the audio will loop a few times (a buffer being replayed I guess) and then the machine reboots itself. Up until now I assumed that this was all down to "Intel graphics drivers are junk", but perhaps someone else has seen this. Moreover, I'm unsure of how to debug it. After the reboot I can't find an explicit mention of the crash in the syslog or /var/log/Xorg. I don't know much about kernel or graphics stuff, so any help appreciated. -- "Cut your own wood and it will warm you twice"
