To record with Audacity, you have to change the sound settings, in sound
entry, try different options, I think that choosing "Monitor of audio..."
works. Try it

Thank you. I installed streamripper and opened it in a terminal. It seems to
be a sort of thing that is used in the terminal. I am a beginner so I have no
skill to do that unfortunately. And HTTPSEVERYWHERE blocked the link so I
could not open the page. But anyway it is difficult for me to use
streamripper now so it is ok. Hopefully a year or two later I might be able
to use it. I hope someday Clementine will have a big button that records it
easily.

Take a look at streamripper

Thank you for the archive copy. It seems that I am using Tor or i2p or both.
I am not sure about it. I was feeling something a bit unpleasant thing like
perpetual light fog... so it might have been the reverse proxy of CloudFlare.
It might make sense if I think so. But I might be wrong. Because surely when
I am using VPN, I frequently encounter the persistent CAPTCHA and I just
learned about the outline of reverse proxies.
I am still struggling to record the matter but I think I will success in that
someday. It would be useful.

It sounds like Audacity uses Cloudflare as a reverse proxy. This is
unfortunate. Cloudflare is very nasty, a huge threat to freedom on the
web, and gaining a lot of control.

> How can I run the anti-virus scan on Trisquel?

You don't have a virus. There are many reasons Cloudflare might
consider you "suspicious" and block you until you complete a CAPTCHA.
If you are using Tor or a VPN, that's likely the reason. If not, I'm
not sure what the reason is, but it's not a virus.

Here[1] is an archived copy of the page I think that you are looking
for. Hopefully you can access this more easily and avoid having to
submit to the CAPTCHA, and here[2] is a good summary of some of the
reasons Cloudflare is terrible.

I am sorry for a late reply. Because the limited data was already small then
so I had to save the internet traffic. And thank you. But I would like to
avoid accessing websites that I do not understand whether safe or not with my
laptop. Because I do not still have confidence in my setting of Abrowser or
proxies or something.
I installed Audacity and tried it. But I did not understand how to record it,
so I tried to check the online manual of Audacity but the website required
persistent security checks. Their claims:

"Why do I have to complete a CAPTCHA?

- Completing the CAPTCHA proves you are a human and gives you temporary
access to the web property.

What can I do to prevent this in the future?

- If you are on a personal connection, like at home, you can run an
anti-virus scan on your device to make sure it is not infected with malware.

If you are at an office or shared network, you can ask the network
administrator to run a scan across the network looking for misconfigured or
infected devices.

Another way to prevent getting this page in the future is to use Privacy
Pass. You may need to download version 2.0 now from the Firefox Add-ons
Store."

How can I run the anti-virus scan on Trisquel?

You can record your computer's audio with Audacity. There are tutorials
online.

If you have a direct link to the channel you should be able to record using
streamlink, wget/save as, ffmpeg. youtube-sl/hypervideo, plowshare or some
other free software.

[Trisquel-users] how to record the internet radio?

2019-12-07 Thread softwdensky

Hi. How have you been spending this weekend?
I would like to record the internet radio to save the internet traffic.
Because it is limited to some GB per month. I use Clementine to listen to
music. I would like to record a certain channel in this weekend. I did a
quick search in this forum but there did not seem to be a good thread. And
legally recording and using it privately is no problem at least in Japan.
Uploading recorded stuff etc seem to be illegal. Thank you for your support
in advance. Have the good rest of the weekend!
