Yes I know, coreboot can integrate blobs, and it does for Intel i series.

The "neutralized" ME is the important thing, and even then, it's not an acceptable state of affairs; it's just better than a fully capable ME.

You should not care about it, you can install OS you want, blobbed or not. The important thing is neutralize ME (and other Intel's malware/bloatware) and flashed Coreboot/Libreboot.

Well, coreboot and libreboot both said that purism is not what they are interested in despite the fact they called themselves "purism" personally, I don't think they have a clue how much of an uphill battle they would have to make it blob free. But I also think they are selling tainted software/hardware. meh... it is what it is.

Why don't they use Trisquel? Why did they insist on further dividing the community with their own OS? As the FSF says, https://www.gnu.org/distros/free-distros.html "If you wish to improve the state of free distros, helping to develop an existing free distro contributes more than starting a new one."
