and trisquel got installed.

Swap is a type of a file system. Tell the installer you want to set up a  
partition of file system type Swap, and the installer will do the rest.

During installation I selected something else and
made a partition. When selecting install I
got this message:

you have not selected any partitions for use as swap space. How do you
create a swap partition? Thanks.
