"You could instead compile it yourself, but I can't find the source code anywhere." Those of us who want to us it could write to Riseup and ask for the source code. Technically, it should be available through Ubuntu or Debian, or how else would they provide it through their repos? If I'm not mistaken, they require source code, too.

You must user their own app as I read but it's just a fork of Bitmask, then, you could configure it in other client but I don't think that follows OpenVPN definition.

[Trisquel-users] riseup vpn requires snapd is there a solution to this?
Hello, I know that snapd is not supported because is it way to easy to install non free software, but is it possible to use riseup vpn with trisquel, https://riseup.net/en/vpn/linux or should I look for another vpn? Any suggestions for another vpn in case? I do use Torbrowser pretty much always, but sometimes I need to use abrowser. all the best to anyone that read this post :)
