My situation has also been resolved by switching away from the es.* domain
for updates.

How does one change to the US repos?

Problem solved. The spanish Trisquel repos are down. I've changed to the US
repos and now the packages are being updated. Thanks for the advice.

I'm using the Oracle version of VirtualBox, and Debian dropped VirtualBox
from Stretch repos due to the release cycle and the lack of details in the
CVE in every new version that has been released.

In the oldstable version, VirtualBox has been upgraded in Jessie backport
repo in contrib and non-free branches.

Otherwise, the point of this thread is the signature error when I try to
update the packages in my Trisquel VM.

I ran system update tonight and got an unauthenticated sources error, so I
went to bash and did: sudo apt-get upgrade and got tons of "Failed to fetch"
errors.

Ex:

E: Failed to fetch
http://es.archive.trisquel.info/trisquel/pool/main/p/python-setuptools/python3-pkg-resources_3.3-1ubuntu2_all.deb
 Unable to connect to es.archive.trisquel.info:http:

Dozens of these. And when I tried "sudo apt-get clean && sudo apt-get
update", I got a bunch of these:

Err http://es.archive.trisquel.info belenos InRelease
Err http://es.archive.trisquel.info belenos-security InRelease
Err http://es.archive.trisquel.info belenos-updates InRelease
Err http://es.archive.trisquel.info belenos Release.gpg
  Unable to connect to es.archive.trisquel.info:http:

Is http://es.archive.trisquel.info down?
