Re: [Trisquel-users] Why does my system take too long to shut down/reboot?
Thank you, Supertramp83. I have been having the same problem in my mini install but not on my regular Trisquel or my command line only install and kind of blew it off as something I was just going to have to live with because it was a bug in the alpha release. Glad to know it's actually an easy fix! Not to threadjack, but the OP may be having the same problem I am and be unable to log into the Ubuntu forums. It's understandable that it leaves a bitter taste in your mouth, but the search feature still works and one of the perks of running a distro like Trisquel is learning to do your own research and trust your own judgment.

Try pressing F1 on shut down and see if it switches to the console messages. If so, can you report back what it says? Andrew

When you shut down does it show the pulsating Trisquel logo, or is it still? Andrew
Re: [Trisquel-users] Why does my system take too long to shut down/reboot?
poglako have you tried searching for a solution on a search engine - being that trisquel is a deblobbed ubuntu you might actually find something in a ubuntu forum.. try this and if it doesn't work search and search and search. http://askubuntu.com/questions/508029/ubuntu-14-04-stuck-on-shutdown/562327
