Well, first of all, it is not an organization. There is a very
small, independent and unincorporated group in Arkansas that has called
themselves, 'little children of Jesus Christ' for a few decades. The
Ruach directed me to them (l-o-o-o-n-g story) more than 20 years ago. A
man named John Quincy Adams was a prolific writer in the first half of the
last century. Adams was very gifted ... in fact anointed. The
people in Arkansas came to faith through Adams (mostly Adams' family
members). Adams never "named" his work though it spanned the
globe. The name came after his death. He was at one time the
Education Director for the Southern Baptists for Texas, Louisiana and
Arkansas, and pastored the Dallas, Texas Southern Baptist church. He
graduated summa cum laude from their Baylor University.
I put up the 'childrenofjesus.org'web site many years ago
predominantly to make his writings more available with the truths evident
therein. His writings reached, as they say, "the four corners of the
globe" in the first half of the last century. Now, thanks to the
internet (and especially to The Ruach ha Kadosh) they are once again reaching
"the four corners of the globe". The writings there are but a tiny
portion of his writings.
Just two nights ago I received an inquiry from Australia (not the first
from there). A small fellowship there came across an old copy
ofAdams1939 publication on 'Christmas' (a classic full of very
strong meat -- a MUST READ for any onetruly seeking TRUTH ... it's on
the web site). They had never heard of him before but were very moved by
the writing. They doubted whether there would even be any info about
this man or any other writings. If not for my web site there wouldn't
be.
I am no longer associated with the lcoJC but keep the web site going out
of my own pocket to promote The Kingdom ... and it still does as evidenced by
the e-mail the other day. A few years ago a small assembly from Poland
wrote. About one year later a small assembly from Poland wrote asking if
I might know of anyone in Poland of like faith with which they could
fellowship. My initial response was, "How would I know anything about
Poland?" Suddenly the other assembly was brought to my remembrance and I
was able to hook up these brethren together from thousands of miles
away.
There are many other testimonies of this type I could share.
