With last night's Toronto/Winnipeg game in the background, I don't see a
huge difference in TV timeouts, although there's no commercial break after a
post-TD kick-off.
 
Also:
Each team has only one time-out per half.
The offence has 20 seconds from the ref's whistle to snap the ball.
