The History of Science Fiction that's running on BBC America right now is
pretty interesting. It covers both film and television sci-fi series, loosely
grouped around themes like Robots and Space . They had some interesting
interviews in the first two episodes, esp. Kenny Baker and Anthony Daniels from
Star Wars.

Re: [TV orNotTV] follow-up: Pioneers of Television

2014-05-05 Thread 'David Bruggeman' via TVorNotTV
It could be months.  I'm basing that on how long of a gap there was between
broadcasting the last two episodes of one of the James May travel/drinking
programs.  However, that was the rebroadcast of a program from the mothership.
This is an original (or at least I think it's original) BBC America production,
so it might just be as long as it takes to run through the current seasons of
Orphan Black and In The Flesh.  I know In The Flesh is not a BBC America
original, but it's airing just a week after original broadcast in the U.S.
Putting it on earlier here might help its US ratings.
