Re: [twincling] in reply to turbo c discussion
Whtz the conclusion? Should colleges continue teaching students C on Turbo C IDE or move over to building code using gcc on Linux or using cygwin? On windows the alternatives are cygwin and Eclipse. Could you share the slides? Based on the depth of the presentation one could decide to attend or not. It is very fast and stable. While early adopters to git faced a steep learning curve, a number of tutorials and user friendly commands, including a bunch of GUIs, and plugins for various IDEs etc., have now made using git easy. However, Git is different enough in its basic concepts that people who have never used a VCS seem to understand it faster, compared to people who have used some other VCS extensively. This talk will hopefully be useful to both kinds of developers. Gitolite is a user-management layer on top of git written in perl, inspired by the somewhat venerable gitosis. Gitolite adds a lot more features as well as extensive documentation. For more information about Git, visit http://git-scm.com/ Speaker Profile Sitaram Chamarty works for TCS, in Hyderabad. He is a fairly technical person, a self-confessed Linux and open source evangelist for about 15 years. Although somewhat rusty now, he also used to be a Perl expert. He started learning git about 18 months ago for use on one of his internal projects, and was hooked. Re: [twincling] TSM - Sat, Sep 12 at 4:15pm - Python, how and why
Is there a subscription link for this? Just to keep track of the number of people who would be attending this training. Last time the Android training was quite crowded, believe that the number of attendees was not expected.
