[twitter-dev] Re: Twitter Whitelist
What benefits would be got from whitelisting? I've developed a simple app that all it does is send direct messages from one account to another, after first setting the accounts to follow each other. It's a web based app, not a desktop one. It does not use any searching etc, in fact it only uses these functions: https://api.twitter.com/oauth/request_token https://api.twitter.com/oauth/access_token https://api.twitter.com/1/friendships/create.xml https://api.twitter.com/1/direct_messages/new.xml Is whitelisting something I should worry about or not? -- Twitter developer documentation and resources: http://dev.twitter.com/doc API updates via Twitter: http://twitter.com/twitterapi Issues/Enhancements Tracker: http://code.google.com/p/twitter-api/issues/list Change your membership to this group: http://groups.google.com/group/twitter-development-talk

Does anyone know if there are any new applications being approved? Hi, I requested whitelisting in REST API and I got the answer within a week. It was rejected though, so that's maybe why it was so quick!
