Any exaples of tweets outside the box and the box itself?

I am using the StreamingAPI with a boundary box but finding it to be

I don't mind thinking outside the box :) but my a large % of my results are
20 miles outside
my selected boundary box.
I have not set any other search criteria.
Any thoughts?
