After doing some righteous spelunking our ops team discovered a small misconfiguration that was very likely the culprit of the intermittent untrusted cert error people were getting when trying to hit api.twitter.com over SSL. This should be all fixed now. To those who reported the problem thank you. Please let us know if you still run into it. We don't think you will be we want to make sure it's totally fixed. Thanks to everyone who's been patient as we ferreted out this subtle problem.
