Hello,

Yes this works but even if I try to get it from you, there is one thing I
did not understand: Don't you apply the fixes Arno made for BCB
compatibility?

Arno, per our agreement, I think it is your responsibility to fix the
BCB-compliant package, right? In the zip file I sent to both of you, there
is both the code and exe of corrupt web server. That might give you an
idea...

Maybe I could not express myself clear: The web server demo YOU wrote
 in
v6 HAS the BUG. All you need to do is to open delphi and browse the
Overbyteicswebserverdemo.bdsproj. I guess you would not want me to
 send

Not surprinsingly, OverbyteIcsWebServ.exe is working perfectly on a
directory of 967 files and another of 2354 files using IE6 as client.

Re: [twsocket] Fw: ICSv6 IIS long dir problem

2006-06-07 Thread Fastream Technologies
The version of ICS you sent to me does NOT work well. I sent you the source
code to look into it. When I sent you the code, v6 was not tested and lots
of modifications made it unusable now for us. We ordered not only SSL but V6
SSL from you including V6-STD as well. Also you did not mark your changes in
code. We need something that works otherwise this contract has absolutely NO
meaning to us. For the amount we paid, I believe we deserve it.

What I want from you,

1) Get the working code from Francois
2) My fix (as you call) was only the {$EXTERNALSYM } directives in types and
library units and very easy to apply
3) Apply your v6-SSL changes for BCB compatibility (make sure you drop the
HTTP Server onto a BCB form see it works. This was INCLUDED in our
agreement--remember??)
4) Apply the latest fix of yours for the Window problem I found.

This is the first time we are doing business with you so we are just getting
to know each other. We wish to work with you in the future as well provided
that this project succeeds.

SZ

Re: [twsocket] Fw: ICSv6 IIS long dir problem

2006-06-07 Thread Fastream Technologies
Hello,

Yes you are right, non-c: roots work fine! :) But this reveals another bug
as you suspect as my old v5 used to work fine with c:!

BTW, Marcello, I was out for supper and missed the 15mins. But anyway, it is
ok now.

Thank you all!

Using HTTP, this server does not return directory listings to me.
Instead returns 404. Can anybody confirm?

Indeed I saw one 404 when I set the DocDir to drive C:\,
so you enter a path to a directory beyond root, works here with
 Opera and IE6.
I only wonder what this has to do with my changes?

Also with my changes I can list a directory containing
 3000 files, no problem.
 If someone likes to test:

The version of ICS you sent to me does NOT work well. I sent you the
source code to look into it. When I sent you the code, v6 was not
tested and lots of modifications made it unusable now for us. We
ordered not only SSL but V6 SSL from you including V6-STD as well.
Also you did not mark your changes in code. We need something that
works otherwise this contract has absolutely NO meaning to us. For
the amount we paid, I believe we deserve it.

 What I want from you,

 1) Get the working code from Francois
 2) My fix (as you call) was only the {$EXTERNALSYM } directives in
types and library units and very easy to apply
 3) Apply your v6-SSL changes for BCB compatibility (make sure you
drop the HTTP Server onto a BCB form see it works. This was INCLUDED
 in our agreement--remember??)
 4) Apply the latest fix of yours for the Window problem I found.

This is the first time we are doing business with you so we are just
getting to know each other. We wish to work with you in the future
as well provided that this project succeeds.

 Hello,

Yes this works but even if I try to get it from you, there is one
thing I did not understand: Don't you apply the fixes Arno made
 for BCB compatibility?

I made NO fixes for BCB compatibility!
I added ICS-SSL to YOUR code which contains YOUR fixes for BCB
 compatibility.

YOUR fixes are not yet part of the origin V6 code, and not yet
 confirmed by
Francois. Therefore I didn't add all of your fixes for BCB
 compatibility to
the ICS-SSLv6 package I sent to Francois yesterday.

Arno, per our agreement, I think it is your responsibility to fix
 the BCB-compliant package, right?

No, read our agreement, if necessary again and again.
My job was neither making ICSv6/ICS-SSLv6 fully BCB compatible nor
 fixing your products.

Has this problem to do with SSL?
Yesterday you wrote in a private mail that it happens w/o SSL as
 well!

If it has to do with either SSL or my recent changes I will have a
look at it. Tell me step by step how to reproduce the error.

BTW: I didn't touch your/the Webserver code at all (compare the
 units by yourself).

I tested the converted SslWebServer demo by downloading some big
 files, that worked perfectly here.

In the zip file I sent to both of you,
there is both the code and exe of corrupt web server. That might
 give you an idea...

Very strange! I get the first packet over and over again here.
 Which version
did you test against? I use here Arno's version with the fixes
 from you and
Arno and as well as the changes v6f.

I will send you my ICS folder privately now.

I am not sure. But this should have nothing to do with SSL IMO.

Maybe I could not express myself clear: The web server demo YOU wrote
 in
v6 HAS the BUG. All you need to do is to open delphi and browse the
Overbyteicswebserverdemo.bdsproj. I guess you would not want me to send
 you files you already have...

Not surprinsingly, OverbyteIcsWebServ.exe is working perfectly on a
directory of 967 files and another of 2354 files using IE6 as client.
