[TYPO3-english] PHP 5.2.x
Which versions of TYPO3 can run with PHP 5.2.something? I know that 4.6 uses 5.3, but the server where I shall be running TYPO3 only has 5.2.17. [TYPO3-english] Pagination in TYPO3 Extension Records
Hi Lists, I have written a TYPO3 extension which lists records from database on pages. Now I have to add pagination at bottom of page with 10 records on each page like tt_news does. Can anybody please give me a hint: if there is a TYPO3 API which is helpful for creating paginated results and links 1,2,3,4 etc. Or I have to write plain PHP code for that in my extension program. Hello, A few weeks ago our first attempt at an Intranet go-live worked fine up until just past lunchtime when Typo3 became unresponsive. Since then we have seriously beefed up resources on both DB and Web servers to handle possible load spikes. Apache Benchmarking results gives us confidence in our builds as we head towards another go-live. My question now is what else should we be considering before our next go-live attempt? Unfortunately I had removed Web and DB server logging and have not been able to duplicate the scenario, so I am assuming the original issue was in or around request traffic volumes. When Typo3 crashed it reported that it could not connect to the database. Then suddenly, without making any changes, the database became available and Typo3 sprang back into action the very next day. Thanks for your thoughts Oliver. Tough break with that bulb, guess I'm just looking for any suggestions coming out of past experience... Our project board discussed bringing in an external consultant, but decided it would take too long for a re-launch as user anticipation is pretty high. Caching, MemcacheD did not give me the benefits I expected, had to reverse it out in the end. Are there any specific Apache modules I could probably discard? At the start of the project we installed the DB and Web functions onto distinct machines on our virtual environment. The core problem here is the tx_em_Tools_Unzip class. tx_em_Connection_Ter::updateTranslatio@n will call @tx_em_Tools::unzip tx_em_Tools::unzip sees that I did not supply a path to the unzip utility and decides to use the internal class tx_em_Tools_Unzip. It will now assume that the return value of tx_em_Tools_Unzip::unzip is an array when it completes successfully. This assumption seems to be false. This results in tx_em_Tools::unzip returning false and tx_em_Connection_Ter::updateTranslation returning FALSE. Thus, it appears as if the process failed. [TYPO3-english] EU_LDAP only imports automatically the admin user
Hi, I'm having this strange pattern happening on my typo3 copy.. I have the eu_ldap module installed and the LDAP server properly configured. In the server configuration I have checked the box that Import/update sucessfully authenticated users automatically. The strange thing is, IF I import all users from the LDAP via the Typo3 BE, all users are created and the authentication works as expected, but if no users are imported, the automatically import just works for the admin (from the LDAP repo) user. Any clues? For those that have experience with this module.. what data do you need me to post here? [TYPO3-english] TYPO3-generared image file sizes larger on one server than on other - same installations
Hi everybody, Hope someone can help me out with this tough cookie. I have two identical website TYPO3 installations with exactly the same localconf / TYPO3 settings.. I even have the same ImageMagick on both servers. One website is on CentOS and the other one on Ubuntu 0 this is the only difference as far as I can figure out.. However, and this is really odd, the images generated by TYPO3 (via gblib I assume) are much larger (2 x bigger) on one server compared to the other.. Now I am guessing that this has something to do with the settings of gblib and/or php, but I can't really figure out where I can change any of these values.. Anybody got a clue? It is possible nesting the tt_products catmenu to HMENU?

Also.. the admin username is also used to log in to the LDAP server.. perhaps the module considers as successfully login the LDAP system users only? Does anyone have experience using this module?
