it looks like u-boot allocates a buffer of CONFIG_ENV_SECT_SIZE size when making "saveenv" command. In our case CONFIG_ENV_SECT_SIZE is 128Kb, so having CONFIG_SYS_MALLOC_LEN = 128Kb is not sufficient.
