Re: [U2] html 2 xls

2011-04-25 Thread Steve Romanow
I use xlwt for this kind of work. Its not perfect, but does what I need.

Will need a developer to setup your html -> xls transform.

Re: [U2] html 2 xls

2011-04-25 Thread George Gallen
Is the HTML just a collection of table rows and columns? (table)(tr) and (td)'s?

If so, Excel should load it just fine. You might need to use the (F)ile, Open
instead
of just clicking on it (which would open the browser).

[U2] html 2 xls

2011-04-25 Thread Shaun.Ferguson
Anyone know of a conversion tool that will take html and produce xls
(Excel spreadsheet) formatted files?
We are running UniData on HPUX but could probably use a utility on a
windows server if necessary.

Thanks!

Re: [U2] Saying Goodbye...

2011-04-25 Thread ELM999

Hi Karl,
Your story/post sound very similar to one that I would post. I am relatively
new to this forum and have not posted much either.

I too am a 25+ year veteran of Pick/Multivalue/U2 sytems and find myself
unemployed. I live in Canada and in the past 6 months or so, there has been
2 Pick related job posting. So I too am trying to abandon Pick as my wife
and kids need cash to survive :-).

Best wishes and congrats on your new job.
