What is a Modertor ? And again, many people on this list will have no idea HOW
to move it to community. If you simply put community in the reply to field you
can be of great assistance to all and sundry.

It was Willy WONKA !

The film was actually bankrolled by Quaker Oates IIRC, who released the "Wonka"
candy range (the things I'll watch when stuck in a hotel room even amazes me
sometimes)

Officially:
wonky: adj:
1: turned or twisted toward one side; "a...youth with a gorgeous red
necktie all awry"- G.K.Chesterton [syn: askew, awry, cockeyed,
lopsided]

2: inclined to shake as from weakness or defect; "a rickety table";
"a wobbly chair with shaky legs"; "the ladder felt a little wobbly";
"the bridge still stands though one of the arches is wonky" [syn:
rickety, shaky, wobbly]

More appropriately for the IT world:
wonky /wong'kee/ adj. [from Australian slang] Yet another approximate
synonym for broken. Specifically connotes a malfunction that produces
behavior seen as crazy, humorous, or amusingly perverse. "That was
the day the printer's font logic went wonky and everybody's listings
came out in Tengwar." Also in `wonked out'. See funky, demented,
bozotic.

I tend to use it in the later fashion -- Usually when something's not
actually broken, but not working correctly at all.

It means that the terminal is about to turn green, get orange hair and wear
white gloves whilst the user is going to turn into a giant blueberry...

Cf Willy Wonky and the Chocolatey Factory
