Re: [Ubnt_users] Problems on 5.6.9?

2016-09-06 Thread Ty Featherling via Ubnt_users
Is the radio with the transmit rate crashing a Powerbeam? We see this on
PB's with marginal signals where we don't with NanoBridges. Firmware,
alternative modulation, etc doesn't help. Get the signal higher at the
sector or switch to a NanoBridge if possible.

Same here. Either all stations are dropped until reboot or all RX rates
crash to 6.5 until the station is kicked or AP is rebooted. Maddening. I

[Ubnt_users] Station connected and working but management UI won't respond

2015-01-09 Thread Ty Featherling
I have seen this many times but I am wondering if anyone knows the cause or
a remote solution. I am going to migrate an AP from 10mhz to 20mhz channel
width. Before I do so I am making sure I can reach all associated radios so
that I can migrate them as well of course. I have 2 different customers on
this AP that are connected and online but the radio just will not respond
via the web interface. One of them will respond via SSH but the other
won't. I tried the reboot command on the one that did respond but any
command I try to run just stalls the session. I call the two customers and
of course neither is around to power cycle the units. Is there a known
cause for this or a way to snap them out of their daze remotely?

SSH didn't work from the AP to the one that doesn't respond to SSH anyway.
It did from the other but same problem, reboot command does nothing. It IS
just radio# reboot right? Ping command from affected radio works fine.

Oh, so the non-Lite Rocket. Sorry.

The e-mail didn't really make it clear that there were new things, just
the same platform hype we had 14 months ago. I didn't read it all, just
skimmed it because it didn't look any different.

Ohhh, so the PtMP works now with the new software?

How could UBNT go this long without a functional control platform only to

What, what?! Airview runs *without* breaking wireless connection? That is
great! Now I will go back into my hole until backwards compatibility with M

  Thank you.

I've had to move to channel filters on 24GHz to keep it workable.

I'd love to see Air Beam in 2.4GHz as well. That with AirPrizm could
restore 2.4GHz to usability for others...

Yes, this is also something we are looking to offer in 2.4ghz. Similar
to what we have in UAP-Outdoor+.

 Thanks,

The R5AC-Lite (previously R5AC-PTP-Lite) will also support PTMP with

Will provide an update in next few days as to release timeframe.
