Bug description:
[camera app] play videos inside the camera app, don't open with
  mediaplayer app

as it is now it is very confusing and frustrating to find a video in a
long list of videos (photo roll) because when you tap on play it opens
the video with another app. it is also slow. a better way would be to
just play the video in camera app

[Ubuntu-apps-bugs] [Bug 1612378] [NEW] Use the space bar to change keyboard layout

2016-08-11 Thread Michal Predotka
Public bug reported:

bq e4.5 OTA-12
To change the layout/language of the keyboard you have to tap the globe icon
or, if you have more than 2 layouts, long-press that icon.
In my opinion the better solution would be to use the space bar for changing
languages/layouts. You would just swipe the space bar right or left to do that.
Please see how android phones do that (Samsung at least) There's language name
and arrows to indicate you can switch to other language ( like on this photo:
http://cdn2.ubergizmo.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/samsung-galaxy-s4-review-043-640x426.jpg
) On Ubuntu we already have the language name on the space bar :)

notification area a new sms message that came a few second ago without letting
me know with a tone. I put the phone down and send another sms from another
device. Again no sound notification after message arrival.
This situation happens to me already for the second time. The first time
rebboting helped. For the second time rebooted helped as well. What I was doing
before was using uRadio but after rebbot i turned the radio on and off and
everything worked fine. I was also using Music app with earphones. If it
happens to me again I provide more information what could be the cause.

[Ubuntu-apps-bugs] [Bug 1438162] [NEW] Touching world icon on the keyboard should cycle through all active keyboard layouts

2015-03-30 Thread Michal Predotka
Public bug reported:

I have 3 keyboard layouts active: English, Polish, Emoji. Now let's say
the current layout is English. When I touch on the world icon the
keyboard, the layout changes to Emoji. When I touch the icon again, the
layout changes back to English. Then I touch it again, I get Emoji and
so on. There's no way to change to the third layout without longpressing
on the world icon and selecting the right layout there. I would expect
the layout change to go through all active layouts, in my example
English-Polish-Emoji-English and so on.

say the current layout is English. When I touch on the world icon
the keyboard, the layout changes to Emoji. When I touch the icon
again, the layout changes back to English. Then I touch it again, I
get Emoji and so on. There's no way to change to the third layout
without longpressing on the world icon and selecting the right
layout there. I would expect the layout change to go through all
active layouts, in my example English-Polish-Emoji-English and so
  on.
