Re: [ubuntu-art] Indigo Icons

I would disagree that faenza is confusing because its square ( i have miro
and transmission next to each other and never get them confused) , i think
it makes the set uniform and bring the whole design together.
I like your design and i would use it, i don't recognise all the icons but i
like most of them :) my only query is,
is the first icon VLC or RSS feed. cause it looks similar to VLC for iphone
but im assuming its RSS feed

 Looks interesting!
But try not to get stuck with just rounded squares for everything.
IMO, it's the most annoying thing in Faenza. It's a clever concept but
everything looks exactly the same and it's not easy/quick to distinguish
the icons without a second glance.

Hey guys,
Just my 2 cents on this topic,
Faenza icons are my least favorite of icons,, I am not sure that it's just
the squareness of them.
Some of them are quite nice and clever in design, but for the most part not.
If going square, i would have used android icons approach,, rounded if
square but extremely easy to read at first glance.
  Here is an example ;

just my opinion

Looks nice, but it's even more confusing than Faenza. I'm afraid I'd never
guessed what do folder-mail-sent or user-trash-full mean.
