[Bug 178151] Re: setting /sys/kernel/uids/uid/cpu_share to 1 causes the scheduler to give most of the cpu time to this uid
maybe the bug is caused by the line se-load.inv_weight = div64_64((1ULL32), shares); in set_se_shares in sched.c? if shares is 1, div64_64 returns 132, but inv_weight is long(32 bit), and only the 33th bit is 1, so inv_weight is 0... -- setting /sys/kernel/uids/uid/cpu_share to 1 causes the scheduler to give most of the cpu time to this uid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/178151 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 95889] Re: rt73 wifi not working out of box
I also have a D-link DWL-G122 C1 usb pen. The rt73usb.ko module doesn't work for me at all, even when no encryption is used (I had a very unstable connection ones with a lot of messages in dmesg and I had to be really close to the access point). I switched to the driver rt73.ko from the ralink site. That worked, but as mentionned above, it does work with NetworkManager and I have to configure by command line. So every time I put my laptop in standby and resume it, I have to reestablish connection by hand. :( I've tried also the windows driver through ndiswrapper. That worked also , but not with the NetworkManager again. -- rt73 wifi not working out of box https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/95889 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 117044] Re: Unable to umount properly removable USB devices
I have quite the same trouble : - Open gparted and choose an external drive. - Unmount one partition - gparted will unmount it but it will be mounted automatically (maybe by gnome-volume-manager) Consequently, gparted won't succesfully work on this partition (it won't format it by example). To succesfully work on this partition, you need tu unmount the partition after gparted did it using umount command. -- Unable to umount properly removable USB devices https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/117044 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 175703] Re: Problem with Korean default font Guseul
** Description changed: If you install Korean language pack in Ubuntu, Ubuntu will install a Korean font Guseul which is contained in ttf-alee package. This font has big problem. Run Character Map and select Guseul font, and click Han(Chinese Character). You'll see Hangul instead of Chinese Character. For example U+4E00 should be 一, but this font print Hangul 일 instead of Chinese character 一. Other problem is this font is one of default Korean font in fontconfig. So firefox use it as default monospace font. It makes Ubuntu users cannot read Chinese character amongst Korean scripts. So I contacted with alee who made this font, he/she said he/she added this feature on purpose, so it's not a bug. I discuss about this problem in Korean community, some people Guseul font has problem, because it print Hangul instead of Chinese character, so it should be removed amongst package of Korean fonts. Other people said it is feature of Guseul font, so it's not a bug. But all people agree with fontconfig should be fixed and change default Korean font on Ubuntu. - - Mait(마잇) maintains Korean fontconfig, so I sent a mail to him/her few - days ago. But I cannot receive a answer. I think he/she could not - receive a mail or maintain this problem now, so I hope someone else - solve this problem. -- Problem with Korean default font Guseul https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/175703 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
