[Bug 374427] Re: doesn't accept multiple keys in id_rsa
The correct way of doing this is to specify multiple IdentityFile lines in your ~/.ssh/config The id_rsa[.pub] files represent a keypair and isn't supposed to contain multiple identities, but it's easy and perfectly valid to use several keys, either by using -i or IdentityFile. [Bug 283811] Re: cups says can't promp for authorization when printing to my samba printer
I had the same issues from my Ubuntu (Jaunty) client. Situation might be a little different from others. In my case, inkjet printer is physically connected to the other Ubuntu server (Hardy). I have printed through samba share, but it hasn't worked since the OS of the client was updated from Intrepid to Jaunty. My solution is publishing shared printers on the server side. To do this, go to System Administration Printing Server on the server side. Check Publish shared printers ... Check Allow printing from the Internet Then, on the client side, I removed all printers that were manually set up, and checked Show printers shared by other systems at System Administration Printing Server Then the client detects the shared inkjet printer, and a new printer icon soon appears on Printer configuration window on the client side. It was successful to print a PDF file and test page through the automatically detected shared printer, and printing is working fine so far. Hope this helps. -- cups says can't promp for authorization when printing to my samba printer https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/283811 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to samba in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 383041] [NEW] cups prints characters mirrors on epson ALC 2OOO
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cups My system is an up to date kubuntu jaunty 9.04 uname -a Linux bombyx-z60m 2.6.28-12-generic #43-Ubuntu SMP Fri May 1 19:27:06 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux Since a few weeks, I think after upgrading from 8.10 to 9.04, printing on Epson Laser ALC 2000 is badly broken. The file looks good on the screen, either when viewed in okular (when it is a PDF file) or in Openoffice (ooo files). However, the printed document is not usable: the printed pages are almost correct except they are full of characters printed twice (one above the other, see the scanned paperprint). The mirrored letters depend on the font, typeface, size. On the included sample, notice the systematically mirrored bold e, bold o, thin c and C. Other documents had problem on a or 0 (zero). Changing the character size or style may be a workaround when possible. I tried ppd (Epson-AcuLaser_C2000PS-epalc200.ppd and Epson- AcuLaser_C2000-eplaser.ppd) downloaded from openprinting.org without success (I think it was byte to byte the same as the one already installed). I have the same problem, but with the KDE Network Manager Plasma Widget. I have found a related bug already in Launchpad: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/plasma-widget-network-manager/+bug/352922 This suggests that the problem is related, the other bug may be a duplicate then. -- Network-Manager not seeing broadband card https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/360905 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 349402] Re: UI: add option for no confirmation
Leo, this really shouldn't be set in /etc/default/apport IMHO. This should be a per-user setting at most. Also, it's not quite autosend, since the user still needs to fill out the LP bug report. ui.py should just accept a --noninteractive (-i or -n) option. If you want to set it by default, it should be an option in ~/.config/apport/settings; use apport.fileutils.get_config() for this. -- UI: add option for no confirmation https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/349402 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 311895] Re: [i945] spontaneous black screen (major pipe-A underrun)
For the record, this still happens with the latest -intel/UXA/KMS versions. However, it does _not_ happen any more on my system since I plugged in a second GB of RAM. Now it has two RAM pipelines available which apparently makes memory operations fast enough to avoid the underruns. I discussed this with Jesse Barnes at UDS, and he seems to understand the root cause of this now. I'll continue discussion upstream. -- [i945] spontaneous black screen (major pipe-A underrun) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/311895 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
