The service I not use permanently I have to set /etc/init/squid.disable and I found /etc/init/squid and /etc/init/squid.disable. As I can see ldap-auth-config is used for configuration of PAM in some old-way (it overwrites /etc/pam.d/common-*) and not actually using the libpam- runtime's pam-auth-update to manage pam.d files. Meanwhile libpam-ldap also depends on libpam-runtime! So in one package we depend on the old and the new config way, while in fact the postinstall script uses the new one and the user would have to run the old one manually. Why do this at all? And why depend on ldap-auth- client. On 10.04 Netstat give me no listen on port 53 for dnsmasq after the reboot. Installing with apt-get libvirt-bin dnsmasq dnsmasq-base give me no error's. But no virbr0! So setting up virbr0 with the command virsh net-define default.xml en virsh net-autostart default is ok. But net-start default in de virsh is not possible! It say's: in virsh internal error exited with non-zero status 2 and signal 0, failed to bind listening socket for netstat: dnsmasq is listen on 0.0.0.0:53 With uncomment bind-interfaces in /etc/dnsmasq.conf and restart dnsmasq : netstat -nap | grep dnsmasq: The 192.168.122.1, 127.0.0.1, 169.254.169.254, 10.0.0.51 are connect on port 53 for tcp and udp. 0.0.0.0:67 for udp. I was going to report this as a bug to php, but I can't reproduce this bug
under PHP 5.3.5 on windows 7.
Additionally there is discrepancy between the command-line runner and the
apache module.

This shows that the language was C (because I was in a minimal chroot
probably). I installed langauge-pack-en and then this script started
showing the pound symbol properly. So the real issue is making sure your
locale is set to UTF-8. This is the exact suggestion of the first
comment on http://us3.php.net/escapeshellarg
Given all of this, I think this isn't a bug that we're going to fix or
even can.. users need to be explicit about their locale if they expect
characters specific to that locale to work.

Description copied from dup, I think the window placement code is right, but the addition of the shade frame (then being see by the Launcher as part of the window) is what is initiating the hide: Starting with a clean desktop and launching a single application (eg. Ctrl-Alt-t for a Terminal) this causes the Launcher to always immediately hide. It appears that the window itself is being aligned to not overlap with the Launcher, but that the shadow around it on the left-hand-side overlaps with the Launcher. I have once tried to debug this in gnome-session (which is a pain for non-gnomerati) and found that somehow there was a dbus client in the inhibiters list. Unfortunately all the details (such as the originating process id) were empty, null or zero. I did find at the time, however, that this never happened on a re-launched X session (say after forced logout and re-login) This made me think that it could be due to particularly fast boot. Is your system fast to boot up? Mine boots maverick in 5 to 6 seconds (on dual SSDs) There might even be something astray from the gnome-greater that is left hanging around in the desktop session. Another gnome issue on my box that is _definitely_ timing dependent is that my gdm greeter will hardly ever show all the user images. In fact it will usually display the first 2 (out of 4) but frequently none. I've similarly tried to debug that behaviour but haven't found a cause. The code is overly complex due to the dynamic zoom effects, yet the callback for the list box population is correctly called all the time. Apparently there is some early face condition on my fast system causing the user images to be unavailable. [1] What prompted me to write this up here was the fact that this bug has gone for a long time without any substantial clues so I reckon I'd just offer my humble 0.02$ Oh, perhaps other users affected by this bug can use d-feet to debug the state of dbus gnome session with the hung process. Yes. I have a fully updated Unity. And I also have a clean installed Ubuntu 11.04 on the PC, I swapped the left Alt and Win, then I wasn't be able to use Alt+Num to switch the Terminal tab.
