[Bug 853255] Re: FFe: Sync dnsmasq 2.58-3 (main) from Debian unstable (main)
Adds new libnetfilter-conntrack-dev build dep and install dep of libnetfilter-conntrack3, which is in universe. Due to this in upstream changelog: Add support for Linux conntrack connection marking. If enabled with --conntrack, the connection mark for incoming DNS queries will be copied to the outgoing connections used to answer those queries. This allows clever firewall and accounting stuff. Only available if dnsmasq is compiled with HAVE_CONNTRACK and adds a dependency on libnetfilter-conntrack. Thanks to Ed Wildgoose for the initial idea, testing and sponsorship of this function. Do not believe it is worth the MIR this cycle to add that feature. Therefore suggesting that this package is merged, with the introduction of a delta dropping the conntrack support, and removing the build-dep. Thanks. ** Summary changed: - FFe: Sync dnsmasq 2.58-3 (main) from Debian unstable (main) + FFe: Merge dnsmasq 2.58-3 (main) from Debian unstable (main) ** Description changed: - Please sync dnsmasq 2.58-3 (main) from Debian unstable (main) + Please merge dnsmasq 2.58-3 (main) from Debian unstable (main) Explanation of FeatureFreeze exception: New upstream version is mostly bug fixes: - - http://thekelleys.org.uk/dnsmasq/CHANGELOG + - http://thekelleys.org.uk/dnsmasq/CHANGELOG Introduces new binary package (dnsmasq-utils) which ships dhcp_lease_time which allows fixing of bug 852771 (allow IP addresses to be put back into the pool faster, for re-use - avoiding exhaustion. [Bug 852484] Re: Merge backuppc 3.2.1-1 (main) from Debian unstable (main)
I've pushed a merged branch of backuppc 3.2.1-1ubuntu1 to lp:~allison/ubuntu/oneiric/backuppc/bug-852484. This is only a merge of the new upstream release containing security fixes, and does not fix any other bugs. [Bug 830813] Re: Anki eats all memory and crashes system
A quick fix for this seems to be: Install qt4-qtconfig. Run it and select a GUI Style that is not the default or GTK+. Motif seems to work nicely. Delete the .anki folder in your home directory (but save your decks somewhere). Run Anki. To be safe perhaps remove Anki and reinstall it first. This is obviously not a proper fix, but Anki will run. This isn't my solution. I found it on a forum somewhere (sorry, can't remember the location). I hope this works well enough for people who rely on Anki to get it running. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/830813 Title: Anki eats all memory and crashes system To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/anki/+bug/830813/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 853012] [NEW] BUG: unable to handle kernel paging request at 00100104
Public bug reported: Lenovo S10 would not wake after suspend. Waited two minutes or so after pressing keys/clicking mouse on blank screen to wake. No response, hard drive sounded like it was running. [Bug 745836] Re: soffice.bin crashed with SIGSEGV in cppu::throwException()
Hi, I was strugeling with this bug over a year. What I figured out is that it always crashed when I had some documents open and I was not working with the libreoffice for some time. When I came back to write a word o to save the document o to paste information the libreoffice crashed. I had the home-directory encrypted. When the .libreoffice-directory is encrypted the libreoffice will often crash. So I moved this directory to a non-encryped directoy and there were no more crashes. I had the crashes with all versions of libreoffice and openoffice 3.0 and higher. This was the version when y encryped my home-directory upgrading to ubuntu 10.04. I hope this will help to fix this bug soon. I guess there is a timeout while openoffice is waiting for some information from the encrypted config-directory. As the information is not coming on time the program crashes by whatever. My solution was after waiting for over one year of a bugfix to decrypt my home-directory. This is what I did today. Hope that this will fix this bug for me. juppy, the issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers of the software by following the instructions at http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport . If you have done so, please tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so we can add a bugwatch that will inform us about its status.
