I found this page because I googled hosts feo0::0 fe00::0 because I just noticed this strange feo0 in my /etc/hosts file. [Bug 1046771] [NEW] Time runs too fast
Public bug reported: While packaging GRUB 2.00 and testing it in kvm on quantal, I noticed that the timeout at the GRUB menu expires much too quickly. [Bug 1047059] Re: Packaging Issues into Ubuntu 12.04
hello Emilien, a few questions :) 1) is /var/log/cinder not owned by cinder:adm ? if it is, that's the correct owner/group. What makes you think it's wrong ? 2) that is inside the python 2.7 distribution, that's almost assuredly the wrong place for it. I have submitted a patch that makes a directory under /var/lib/cinder/volumes with the owner of cinder:cinder. I am curious though, how did the volumes end up pointed there ? do you have anything in your cinder.conf perhaps ? [Bug 1045986] Re: Ubuntu AppArmor policy is too lenient with shell scripts
This bug was fixed in the package isc-dhcp - 4.2.4-1ubuntu7 --- isc-dhcp (4.2.4-1ubuntu7) quantal-proposed; urgency=low * debian/dhclient-script.linux: Explicitly set the PATH to that of ENV_SUPATH in /etc/login.defs and unset various other variables. We need to do this so /sbin/dhclient cannot abuse the environment to escape AppArmor confinement via this script. This can be removed once AppArmor supports environment filtering (LP: 1045985). Don't worry about debian/dhclient-script.linux.udeb or debian/dhclient-script.kfreebsd* since AppArmor isn't used in these environments. - LP: #1045986 isc-dhcp (4.2.4-1ubuntu6) quantal-proposed; urgency=low * SECURITY UPDATE: denial of service via unexpected client identifiers - debian/patches/CVE-2012-3570.patch: validate MAC length in includes/dhcpd.h, server/dhcpv6.c. - CVE-2012-3570 * SECURITY UPDATE: denial of service via malformed client identifiers - debian/patches/CVE-2012-3571.patch: validate packets in common/options.c, includes/dhcpd.h. - CVE-2012-3571 * SECURITY UPDATE: denial of service via memory leaks - debian/patches/CVE-2012-3954.patch: properly manage memory in common/options.c and server/dhcpv6.c. - CVE-2012-3954 -- Jamie Strandboge ja...@ubuntu.com Wed, 05 Sep 2012 08:59:49 -0500 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to dhcp3 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1045986 Title: Ubuntu AppArmor policy is too lenient with shell scripts To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apparmor/+bug/1045986/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
Re: [Bug 969359] Re: [keyboard]: gnome-settings-daemon consumes 100% cpu (and blinking numlock)
I changed my pc. With this new one, intel sandy bridge generation and Ubuntu 12.04.1 x64 installed, against the old one with core duo generation and ubuntu 12.04 x86: after a VNC session the cpu consumption is high for vino-server process (100%) but I don't see the num lock led blinking on the keyboard anymore. Now I performed the dconf-editor configuration change and I will repeat the test after next reboot. 2012/9/5 Коренберг Марк 969...@bugs.launchpad.net $ sudo apt-get install dconf-tools $ dconf-editor $ Go to org.gnome.settings-daemon.peripherals.keyboard $ uncheck remember-numlock-state checkbox And you are done! -- You received this bug notification because you are subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/969359 Title: [keyboard]: gnome-settings-daemon consumes 100% cpu (and blinking numlock) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/969359/+subscriptions -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/969359 Title: [keyboard]: gnome-settings-daemon consumes 100% cpu (and blinking numlock) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/969359/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1034108] Re: Lubuntu, won't take system password, always prompts for keyring
I have had this same issue since I installed Ubuntu One in lubuntu (12.04). I set same password for log in and for this 'Default' keyring as I read from somewhere that then the keyring would be unlocked at log in automatically without prompting the password dialog. This didn't work and I suspect that LXDE in lubuntu doesn't support gnome-keyring. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1034108 Title: Lubuntu, won't take system password, always prompts for keyring To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntuone-client/+bug/1034108/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
